Tribe Manumi

Learn more about our community!

Manumi is an indigenous community rooted in North Carolina, proudly matriarchal and matrilineal values. We celebrate the strength and wisdom women while honoring our deep connection to the land and our ancestors. As a goddess-worshiping community, we foster an environment of egalitarianism, nurturing, and respect. Join us in exploring the rich traditions and teachings of Manumi, where every voice is valued and cherished.

Our Matron Goddess Uva

Manumi deeply values the birthing aspect. We believe that because birth is the catalyst for life, it must be honored and revered. Uva is the embodiment of this birthing force. We live within her womb, and she emanates through all living things, experiencing life through us as we move and grow inside of her. She is associated with spirals, inverted triangles, the uterus, and matriarchal animals such as lions, elephants, and ants. Her colors are red, pink, and black, each representing stages of creation and transformation. We honor her by living in harmony with nature and all living beings, and by offering special prayers while lying on our backs, returning ourselves to the posture of origin within her cosmic womb.

Our Pillars

Harmony

Harmony is the Prime Equilibrium, the living force that binds Manumian existence into coherence. It is the frequency through which the Manumian people align their inner world, their communal responsibilities, and their cosmic inheritance. Harmony is not passive peace; it is the disciplined practice of maintaining balance between emotion, intention, action, and ancestral law. It is the tone sung by the Cosmic Mother, the divine matriarch whose vibration shaped the Manumian people and established the order that all descendants must uphold. To embody Harmony is to move without resistance, to act in ways that do not fracture the community, distort one’s spirit, or disrupt the natural cycles that sustain life. Harmony demands self-awareness, emotional regulation, truthful communication, and a commitment to resolving conflict before it becomes decay. It is the pillar that ensures Manumians remain aligned with their purpose, their lineage, and the cosmic forces that watch over them. Through Harmony, the Manumian people preserve their unity, protect their sacred lands, and maintain resonance with the ancestral frequencies that guide their evolution.

Love:

Love, in Manumian doctrine, is the binding force of creation, the generative power that flows from the Cosmic Mother and sustains all relationships, all growth, and all spiritual evolution. It is not romantic affection or emotional softness; it is the disciplined commitment to nurture, protect, and elevate the people and energies within one’s sphere. Love is expressed through responsibility, devotion, and the willingness to act in alignment with truth even when it requires sacrifice. It is the principle that teaches Manumians to honor the divine spark in themselves and others, to build community through care rather than control, and to maintain the sacred bonds that keep the lineage strong. To embody Love is to become a vessel of nourishment, one whose presence strengthens the collective and restores balance wherever fragmentation appears.

Top Pysche:

Top Psyche is the Manumian principle of elevated mind, the disciplined ascent of thought, perception, and awareness toward its highest possible expression. It represents the state in which the mind is no longer ruled by impulse or distortion but instead guided by clarity, truth, and ancestral intelligence. Top Psyche is the mental throne — the place where wisdom sits, decisions are purified, and purpose becomes unmistakable. It teaches Manumians to refine their thinking, strengthen their intuition, and cultivate a mind that uplifts rather than destabilizes the self or the community. To embody Top Psyche is to operate from the highest vantage point of consciousness, seeing beyond emotion, illusion, and ego, and choosing actions that align with cosmic order and matrilineal legacy.
