Here at Hidden Aether Village, active members are organized into four classes: Genin, Chunin, Jonin, and Sannin. These classifications reflect a member’s skill level and experience, ensuring they are matched with missions appropriate to their current stage of growth. They also help us identify what each person needs to advance on their spiritual path. Each rank includes a set of milestones that must be completed before progressing to the next level.

Entry Level
Genin & Chunin
Genin are new initiates of the village and are not yet eligible to undertake missions. At this stage, their focus is observation, orientation, and grounding in village principles. Genin may shadow a Chunin to witness the flow of mission work and begin understanding the skills they will soon develop.
Chunin are entry‑level members who have passed the Chunin Exams, demonstrating the foundational abilities required to handle the average influx of missions. They are trusted with standard tasks, continue refining their discipline, and serve as guides for Genin preparing to advance.
Professional
Jonin
Jonin are seasoned members who have completed a required number of D through B‑Rank missions, demonstrated consistent excellence, and passed the Jonin Exam. At this stage, they possess advanced skill, discipline, and reliability. Jonin also hold the necessary certifications within their field of study, allowing them to take on complex missions, mentor lower ranks, and serve as leaders within the village.
Elite Mastery
Sannin
Sannin are an elite class of Jonin who possess uncommon skill, experience, and resources. They are often cross‑trained in multiple disciplines and demonstrate mastery far beyond the average member. Sannin are capable of undertaking missions that would be extremely difficult—if not impossible—for others, serving as strategic anchors, specialists, and high‑level operatives within the village.
